It's sometimes difficult to find a nice villa within easy walking distance of all amenities, especially in a popular village. So we are delighted that Villa Monte Aurosa has come to us because we know that many of our clients will want to snap it up! Monte Aurosa is the old name of Montauroux. Monte Aurosa is slightly unusual in that the 4 bedrooms are split between the main house, the cottage and the studio. Each building has a double bedroom and bathroom and its own terrace but meals and get-togethers would probably always take place at the main house. Each terrace has fab views across the valley. The pool is heated throughout the summer so even if you are a bit of a 'frileuse' or 'frileux' you will able to jump straight in. Please note that because Monte Aurosa is in a village there is very occasional light traffic noise.

About Villa Monte Aurosa

A great location for this completely renovated property in Montauroux, one of the beautiful perched villages of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur. Just 200m from the central square of Montauroux and the same distance from shops and restaurants so if you want a holiday rental close to all amenities then this is the place for you.

The grounds are laid out over several terraces, including the large private heated pool (9m x 4.75m) and secured parking for up to 3 cars.

In the main house, you will find a large open-plan salon/kitchen/dining area with two en-suite bedrooms. The large American kitchen with an island is fully equipped and leads off to the spacious terrace with a gas barbecue for al fresco dining whilst enjoying the views.

The Cottage offers one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a small terrace.

The Studio has one bedroom (which probably offers the best views), a bigger en-suite bathroom, and a terrace.

Within walking distance, there is a supermarket, restaurant, bar and bakery. The local market is also only 2 minutes walk and takes place on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Lake Saint-Cassien and Golf de Terre Blanche are 10 minutes away by car. The sea is 20km away and Cannes 25km. The airport of Nice Côte d'Azur is only 45 minutes by car and St-Tropez 1 hour.

    Fabulous villa

    I booked the Villa to celebrate a special birthday with my 3 adult children. I wanted somewhere out of the ordinary and I certainly found it. Spacious bedrooms each with its own bathroom and outside seating, terrace with an amazing view, well equipped kitchen, large lounge/diner, swimming pool. Every aspect had been well thought out to provide a memrable stay. The villa lived up to my expectations and fitted the bill perfectly

    Heaven on earth

    A little piece of heaven. 3 generations family of 8 (children age 6 and 9) had the most perfect week. Everything has been thought of to make your stay extra special. The view is breathtaking, the pool is fantastic, the surrounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and beds so comfy. The location is perfect so near to the village with wonderful bakery, restaurants and a delightful artisan pottery maker. Eco beach close by is fantastic, supermarket just a few minutes drive, many wonderful places to visit in the area such as Mougins, Grasse, Nice, Cannes, and we even popped over the border to Ventimiglia in Italy. Thank you Lisa for being amazing host to ensure we had everything we needed. All in all 5 star holiday and we cannot wait to return. Family Horne & Amson x

    The perfect location for a relaxing holiday! Comfortable bedrooms and modern bathrooms. Terrace with beautiful views. Beautiful, heated swimming pool - useful in October. Spacious kitchen and outdoor grill invite you to cook communally. A little traffic noise from the road below the house, but not bad. Good communication with hospitable owner on arrival and check-out. Delicious bakery and small grocer within 5 minutes walking distance. Beautiful surroundings with other villages worth a visit (Fayence, Callian) and good hiking trails.

    The house is in a fantastic location and the view is wonderful. However, you do need to be careful when entering the driveway if the car is heavily loaded or slightly lower. But since the street is car-free, you can take all the time you need. The house has several places to lounge/read/sunbathe so there is plenty of privacy if you wish. The rooms are nice, the beds good. The kitchen is fully equipped and the swimming pool is wonderful. Lunch at the table under the olive tree is a fairytale. In 5 minutes you walk to the boulangerie (the one at the back of the village is even nicer) and the supermarket also has everything and is almost always open. It is a very small village but lively, there were 3 events the week we were there! Be sure to have lunch/eat at Deux Rocs in Seillans (make a reservation for dinner), a 20-minute drive away. A good tip for a visit to the beach is Théoule-sur-mer, more than half an hour's drive away, a lovely small and well-organized village with a nice bay and pontoon for the kids to jump off. Be sure to arrive on time, otherwise parking will be no fun. For a fancy lunch, make a reservation at Marco Polo.

    Spectacular views

    The villa has a spectacular view and we spend the our time there with great pleasure. The pull is really good. The driveway can easily take 4 cars. It's well equipped and I can easily recommend.
