An elegant, charming family home obviously much loved by its owners. The very big garden will be particularly appreciated by children, there's room for a good knockabout game of football. The proximity of the villa to Vence is a definite plus and if you don't fancy cooking then you can just dial up a takeaway. The owner can also recommend cooks/chefs in the area if you want a special or celebration meal. The owners leave a welcome pack including a bottle of champagne for guests.
About Hannah's Lovely Villa
Hannah's Lovely Villa is nestled between the gorgeous, medieval and historical towns of Vence and St. Paul de Vence in the south of France. Its back is to the mountains yet the villa is within minutes of the French Riviera coast.
short lets welcome price starts from £1800 spring and Autumn
The town of Vence is in the lush green hills above Nice. Hannah's Lovely Villa was designed by a local architect to maximize the sunlight of the Cote D’Azur. The villa is in an oasis of peace and tranquillity but just a 15-minute walk into the town of Vence.
Sleeping 8 comfortably, perfect for the family or couples, a private retreat, this Villa is truly a vacation of its own. Enjoy a chocolate drizzled croissant straight from the village bakery or sip a cool glass of local wine while tanning on one of the property's several sun-drenched patios and terraces, take a dip in the pool! Dine al fresco in the large gardens, under the magnificent hundred-year-old ash tree with only bird song or, in the evening, the frogs’ chorus to disturb the tranquillity.
Vence is a commune set in the hills of the Alpes Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in southeastern France between Nice and Antibes.
The area is ideal for walking and cycling. Take a walk through woodland to St Paul de Vence and browse the art galleries and crafts workshops. Watch the locals play boule whilst relaxing with a coffee or a refreshing glass of Provence rose.
Or walk to Tourrettes sur Loup, the capital of the violet, which has a wonderful view over the valley.
Drive to one of the many beaches within easy reach of the villa or stay inland and visit Grasse with its world-famous Perfumeries.
Cagnes-sur-Mer is the closest beach to the villa and is a 20-minute drive

Vence has both supermarkets and small, local artisan shops.
Vence is France’s town of art near the French Riviera. This might sound like a big claim in a country so soaked in art history, especially 20th-century art, but the lovely historic town on Vence in the South of France between Nice and Antibes has been a magnet for artists who left their legacy in both spirit and art.
The town has a small chapel, up above the Cité Historique Chapelle du Rosaire (1948, completed in 1951), decorated with stained glass and other fittings by Henri Matisse.
Vence is also famous for its spring water, which can be collected from numerous fountains in the town. it is a heaven for cyclist, spectacular outlook over the Cote D’Azur, with many charming villages to visit for lunch or dinner.
Vence has many superb restaurants and lovely small shops, bakeries, cafes, absolutely charming! (also several large supermarkets, just outside). Easy parking both in town and Villa.
